Blog EntrySep 26, '07 2:27 AM
for everyone
I'll be out of my 3 blogs for the next 3 weeks for reasons explained below,  but here's plenty of links to read and listen to.

I'm still sitting at the Narita Airport in Tokyo working on my final plans for the next few days.  As I mentioned in my last post Busy, busy, busy - I'm on my way to meet with Steve Murrell in San Francisco.

From there I turn around and head back for Asia to take a 10 day break with my wife of 25 years (that's by October 2) Marie.

Marie has written a series of posts about how we started, to enjoy them read in sequence:

Joey Was My Second Husband,   1st Time Ever I Saw Your FaceThe Waiter, the Lola, the Healing,  You and Me Against the World.

It has been a fantastic 25 years being married to the woman you love and your best friend at the  same time.  God must love me so much for giving me this awesome, very funny (it was her idea to roll that ball over me) and kind woman.

There is also the real life perspectives written by our oldest son, Joseph:  Things I Learned From My Parent's Marriage  and David's (our second son)  Conversations With My Dad

(Decided to just continue this post.....I am now in Milpitas, right outside of San Jose, California)

Last Saturday a feature article entitled Jesus Christ and Superstars came out in the  Philippine Star. The artcile was written by Paolo Lorenzana a young man who has frequented the church.  It was very encouraging to see how the church has been used by God to reach many.  Here's the link to the article:  Jesus Christ and Superstars  -- thanks  a lot Paolo, really loved your article!

You might also want to link to Anson Yu's comments on the article and his wish.  His wish was that the article had mentioned the large number of soldiers, teachers, nurses, accountants, IT people, call center operators, mothers, fathers and VCF's greatest focus students.  But then I understand where Paolo was coming from in his article --- Maybe someone should write another one.

And since I will be traveling and spending time with my sweetheart I will be out of my 2 blogs - Discipleship Is Relationship (click on link to listen to my last post) and Joey's Prayer Site (click link to listen) for the duration of my absence.  Both posts will help you get more excited about discipleship and prayer.  Also, I want to alert you that joeybonifacio.com is presently down but should be back up in the next few days.

Pray for the outreach here in California.  Steve, Murrell, Neil and Blanche Bernardino and Joseph Boniifacio are here.  Meeting with Ariel Pasion, Ed Ballenas and Gary Senna and John Steele plus some of Victory's finest in the area.  Pray that we can all unite and mobilize the churches in area to plant a church into San Francisco -- a seriously exciting and challenging place to reach.

All the best to you all!
